Liam Dooley
Liam Dooley is a baritone from Eagle River, Alaska. He is in the first year of his Master’s of Music in Voice and Opera at the Schulich School of Music at McGill University, where he is a student of Brett Polegato. Before his time at Schulich, Liam attended the School of Performing Arts at Holland College in Prince Edward Island, the Music Entertainment Industry Studies Program at University of Colorado Denver, and the Lamont School of Music at the University of Denver, where he earned his Bachelor’s of Music Performance in Voice. Liam is a multidisciplinary artist, performing operatic works, art song, jazz, and folk music. In Opera McGill’s 2026 performances, Liam will be debuting the roles of Collatinus in The Rape of Lucretia by Benjamin Britten and Melisso in Alcina by Handel. At Opera5 this summer, Liam will be performing the roles of Spinelloccio and Ser Amantio di Nicolao in Gianni Schicchi. He will also be on the production team as an Assistant Stage Manager for Suor Angelica. Liam’s past engagements and roles includes Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream by Britten, The Pilot in The Little Prince by Rachel Portman, as well as Le Chat and L’horloge Comtoise in L’enfent et les sortilèges by Ravel. Liam has performed as a chorus member in productions by Opera Colorado, Anchorage Opera, and is a Touring Artist with Central City Opera, bringing operatic programming to schools and communities around Colorado.
