Come Closer

A new Canadian opera that takes an emotional look at the grief of losing a sister, based on the personal experiences of Rachel Krehm, who lost her sister Elizabeth to addiction.

Elegies: A Song Cycle

This intimate and moving remembrance of departed friends is by the Tony award-winning composer of Falsettos and A New Brain, William Finn.

Entering its second iteration, the Portfolio Artist Internship, in partnership with Opera McGill (Schulich School of Music) will welcome six interns into the 2025 program. These artists will take the stage for Elegies: A Song Cycle.

Threepenny Submarine

Are you a fan of opera, classic hits, puppets, and children’s shows? Then wowza, do we have the digital series for you! We’ve teamed up with Gazelle Automations to share the story of junior officers, Iona the cockatiel and Lydian the vixen, as they explore the deep sea in Threepenny Submarine near the mysterious Salieri Sector. After a scare, they accidentally come across a strange sea creature who sounds like a flute, and their adventure begins!
